COACHING FOR EDUCATIONAL PROFESSIONALS
I have had a long career as a secondary teacher and now I provide personal tuition and I lecture in the University of Chichester Institute of Education.
As I have had many years of service at the ‘chalk-face’ as a classroom teacher, head of faculty and pastoral lead, I am all too aware of the professional and personal pressures that teachers face. Therefore, I can use this experience to provide a unique and insightful approach to coaching educators at all stages in their careers in an environment that is unconnected with the usual performance management structures.
I can provide support with:
-
Clarity of direction
-
Acting as a sounding board for new ideas and new initiatives
-
Developing your personal qualities – eg. growing your resilience and confidence
-
Helping you to develop as a leader/manager and achieve your potential
-
Interview preparation
-
Decision making
-
An unsatisfactory work-life balance
-
Burn-out
-
Appraisal and performance management outcomes
-
Disciplinary matters
-
Behaviour for learning
-
Coping with stress
-
Juggling priorities and making best use of your time
-
Becoming more emotionally intelligent when dealing with others e.g. when in conflict
-
Dealing with difficult parents
-
Providing a confidential ‘ear’ for you to discuss any worries
-
Managing change
And more….
