Coaching and Mentoring
I have had more than 25 years’ of experience as a secondary school teacher and pastoral lead, and I have supported many students facing a variety of challenges. I offer a spectrum of support from coaching, centred on the student exploring their issues and arriving at their own solutions, to more conventional mentoring which involves offering advice and tools to cope with the pressures.
My approach is empathetic, practical and sometimes challenging, but I always prioritise the student’s welfare.
I can provide support with:
-
· exam stress
-
· lack of motivation
-
· revision
-
· careers
-
· higher education applications
-
· problem-solving
-
And more….
I hold a current enhanced DBS clearance.
