Coaching and Mentoring
Clarity coaching for sports men and women.
From my background as an elite rower and long experience as a rowing coach, I am all too aware of the difficulties relating to:
· Competition nerves
· Coping with injury
· Balancing the demands of training with professional and private life
· Transitioning to life beyond competition
I coach athletes of all levels to address these issues, and more….
I hold an ILM Level 7 Diploma in Executive Coaching and I am an accredited executive coach with the Association for Coaching.
My approach is relaxed, but I am prepared to challenge assumptions and query actions when necessary. I use a range of coaching tools and my questioning is thought-provoking. My coaching enables clients to gain clarity, empowering them create their own solutions.
My coaching brings clarity, enabling you to steer through many of the challenges that life presents.
These could include:

‘David is, in my opinion, such an empathic, caring and decent human being, someone who seems to be constantly reflecting on how he can be a “better” person and who consciously and constantly pays attention to his own actions and his inter-actions with others.’
‘I was encouraged a great deal but necessarily, I think, challenged by David to view situations in a new and different light.’
‘I felt that David was an equal with me and at no stage felt a superiority, piousness or self-righteousness coming from him at all.’
‘David has a kindness, an empathy and a wish to be in service to others that is really obvious and genuine.’
‘As a result of my sessions with David I feel understood, I have taken away approaches, tips, practical information and skills that undoubtedly help me now and will continue to do so in the future.’
